Baladi News – Hama Countryside (Shahoud Jadou)
The rebels liberated Al Zara village in Hama countryside after fierce clashes against the Syrian regime forces. Ubaida Abu Khuzaamah, an activist in Hama Media Center, told Baladi News that, "The rebels waged a surprising attack against several checkpoints surrounding Al Zara village before entering it. As a result, the rebels killed at least 15 Syrian regime soldiers, captured others, and seized a tank as well as a military vehicle ".
The activist added that "the rebels launched the offensive to support the residents of Aleppo, calling it the battle of revenge for Aleppo." In the same context, regime's airplanes and helicopters conducted several air strikes on the village after liberating it. It is also noteworthy that the regime artillery, which had been positioned in the village, had killed tens of the besieged residents of Hama southern countryside as well as Homs northern country side.
